Job summary

LSI is seeking an experienced Crew Leader to oversee tree care operations including removals, pruning, stump grinding, and emergency storm work. You will lead a crew safely, maintain high workmanship, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include performing removals and pruning, operating chainsaws and bucket trucks, inspecting equipment, and mentoring crew members. The role requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to work outdoors in various weather.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus.
• Experience in tree care and crew supervision.
• Ability to operate tree equipment and commercial vehicles safely.
• Knowledge of tree removal, pruning techniques, rigging, and safety procedures.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding work.

Responsibilities

• Perform tree removals, pruning, trimming, and stump grinding
• Operate chainsaws, chippers, bucket trucks, loaders, and other tree equipment
• Ensure all work is completed safely and according to company standards
• Maintain communication with supervisors, customers, and crew members
• Conduct daily equipment and vehicle inspections
• Follow all ANSI, OSHA, and company safety procedures
• Train and mentor crew members on safe work practices
