Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts in St. Louis is seeking experienced Tree Climbing Forepersons to lead crews in vegetation management across urban and rural routes. You will supervise daily operations, coordinate equipment, and ensure safety standards while delivering reliable service to customers.

The role requires at least two years of vegetation management experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong leadership skills. Travel may be required for storm work and union opportunities are noted.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in Vegetation Management.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Ability to read contract requirements and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Direct crew members and manage equipment daily.
• Plan, assign, and execute tasks safely and professionally.
• Submit daily timesheets and billing information in AMS.
• Notify property owners and obtain access permissions for work.
• Oversee equipment usage and truck inventory; ensure security of gear.
• Maintain accurate records of time, equipment, and materials.
• Maintain above-standard customer relations.
