Job summary

SavATree is hiring for a Climber-In-Training Apprentice Program. Start as Groundsperson, then enroll in a 2-year apprenticeship through Front Range Community College with monthly classes from November to March.

Full-time with full benefits, opportunities to train in climbing, pruning, safety and tree care across communities. The role includes outdoor work on General Tree Care crews, learning proper techniques, equipment operation and a path to become a professional in tree care.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid Driver’s license with clean DMV record.
• Desire to work outdoors and learn climbing/tree care techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist General Tree Care crew in pruning, removals, cable bracing and related tasks.
• Learn climbing techniques, chainsaw safety, plant and tree identification during apprenticeship.
• Participate in full-time schedule with benefits and annual training sessions.
