Job summary

SavATree is seeking a Tree Climber in Training to join our General Tree Care Team. You will work outdoors, visit properties, and perform climbing and pruning duties using safe techniques.

Typical responsibilities include pruning, removals, and cable bracing, along with operating climbing gear and equipment. This is a physically active role emphasizing safety, teamwork, and client service.

Qualifications

• Desire to work outdoors in a physically active role.
• Valid U.S. driver's license with a clean DMV record.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Willingness to learn tree climbing and pruning techniques.
• Ability to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species.

Responsibilities

• Perform tree care tasks as part of a crew, including pruning and removals.
• Safely operate climbing gear and chainsaws.
• Apply proper pruning techniques and tree care practices.
• Follow safety procedures at all times and deliver quality service.
