SavATree in Colorado Springs is seeking a Groundsperson for the Climber-In-Training Apprentice Program. You start in ground duties and enroll in a 2-year apprenticeship through Front Range Community College, attending classes monthly from November through March.

This is a full-time role with benefits, PTO, and a 401(k) savings plan. You will work outdoors on a General Tree Care crew, performing pruning, removals, and safety tasks while learning climbing techniques, chain saw use, pest and tree

Qualifications

• Desire to work outdoors.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver's license to operate company vehicles.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Daily focus on a General Tree Care crew to provide high-quality tree care.
• Assist with pruning, removals, and cable bracing as part of tree care tasks.
• Operate equipment safely and follow safety protocols.
• Support ability to learn climbing techniques and tree identification.
