Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer Trainee in Baraboo, WI for full-time, non-exempt hours. You’ll trim trees, operate equipment, load debris, and help maintain jobsite safety. Training is provided and you’ll assist in onboarding new staff.

Minimum requirements include 18+ years old, physical stamina, ability to climb and perform physically demanding tasks, and a valid driver’s license. Company benefits are offered and pre-employment screens may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be able to walk, climb and work from ladders at various heights and terrains.
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Trims and removes trees, branches, and trunk sections.
• Operates and services tools and equipment.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds debris into a woodchipper.
• Maintains safe work areas and protects others from hazards.
• Assists in training new employees and supports team operations.
