Job summary

Wright Tree Service is seeking an experienced Crew Leader to guide a tree care crew on job sites, ensuring safety, efficient production, and high-quality work. The role requires coordinating personnel, equipment, and customer communications while upholding company policies and safety standards.

The Crew Leader will work with a General Foreperson to prioritize tasks, manage risks, and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience on tree trimming or clearing crews or successful skills assessments.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have First-Aid and CPR cards or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Lead crew to achieve production goals while coaching team members.
• Identify safety hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and job methods.
• Coordinate task allocation, access job sites, and communicate with customers and property owners.
• Operate or supervise use of climbing equipment, ground tools, and herbicide application where appropriate.
• Maintain logs and reports on crew production, expenses, and work orders.
• Set up traffic controls and protect workers and the public at job sites.
