Job summary

Wright Tree Service seeks a skilled supervisor to lead tree trimming/clearing crews in Minnesota. You will coach the crew to hit production goals, identify safety hazards, and coordinate herbicide treatment operations.

Expect record-keeping, vehicle/equipment inspections, and clear communication with customers and property owners. The role emphasizes safety training, proper licensing where required, and maintaining certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience on tree trimming/clearing crews or completed skills assessments.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• First-Aid and CPR cards or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to obtain/maintain valid driver’s license as per division/requirements.
• Herbicide application certification or equivalent as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and coaching to the crew to achieve production goals.
• Identify safety hazards and ensure compliance.
• Participate in conducting safety training and briefings.
• Use herbicide equipment to treat stumps and brush.
• Maintain production and cost records for crew.
• Inspect vehicles and equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with customers and property owners.
