Job summary

Wright Tree Service in Cottonwood, CA is seeking a Crew Leader to guide the crew, coach on safety, and allocate tasks on the job site under the General Foreperson. The role focuses on safety, compliance, and efficient work execution in challenging outdoor conditions.

You will identify hazards, coordinate tree trimming and herbicide work, manage records, and ensure OSHA and ANSI standards are followed while maintaining strong customer relations and field operations.

Qualifications

• Leadership and coaching abilities to guide crews on safety and production.
• Strong communication skills with customers and crew members.
• Knowledge of ANSI/OSHA standards relevant to tree work.
• Experience with tree trimming, removal, and herbicide application.
• Ability to read maps and circuit diagrams for work orders.

Responsibilities

• Coach crew on policies, safety, and methods while allocating tasks.
• Identify hazards and ensure OSHA compliance on site.
• Use herbicide equipment to treat brush and trunks and maintain records.
• Coordinate access with property owners and explain work to clients.
• Perform vehicle and equipment inspections and routine maintenance.
