Job summary

Pflugerville ISD is seeking a dedicated Treatment Nurse (LVN or RN) to provide high-quality wound care and treatment services on our care team. You will work closely with interdisciplinary colleagues to promote resident healing and outcomes, while maintaining thorough documentation and strong communication with physicians and families.

The role emphasizes independent work within a collaborative environment, with a resident-centered approach and a commitment to compassionate nursing care.

Qualifications

• Active LVN or RN license (in good standing)
• Experience in wound care and treatment procedures (preferred)
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Compassionate, resident-centered nursing approach

Responsibilities

• Perform dressing changes, wound assessments, and specialized skin treatments
• Monitor and document healing progress of wounds, incisions, and skin concerns
• Communicate effectively with physicians and families regarding care plans
• Evaluate residents' nutritional and hydration needs related to wound healing
• Review lab results and respond to signs of infection
• Educate staff on wound prevention and treatment protocols
• Assist with floor staffing to ensure continuity of care

We're seeking a skilled and compassionate Treatment Nurse (LVN or RN) to join our care team. In this role, you'll deliver high-quality wound care and treatment services while working closely with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident outcomes. Your Impact as a Treatment Nurse

In this role, you will:

• Perform dressing changes, wound assessments, and specialized skin treatments
