Riveroaksnursing is seeking a Treatment Nurse (LVN or RN) to deliver high-quality wound care and treatment services. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to improve resident outcomes, requiring clinical expertise, reliability, and a collaborative spirit.

The role emphasizes wound care delivery, documentation, and effective communication with physicians and families. Strong assessment and compassionate, resident-centered nursing are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active LVN or RN license in Texas.
• Experience in wound care is preferred.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Resident-centered, compassionate approach to nursing.

Responsabilités

• Perform dressing changes, wound assessments, and skin treatments.
• Monitor and document healing progress of wounds, incisions, and skin concerns.
• Communicate care plans with physicians and families.
• Evaluate residents' nutritional and hydration needs related to wound healing.
• Review lab results and respond to signs of infection.
• Educate staff on wound prevention and treatment protocols.
• Assist with floor staffing to ensure continuity of care.

In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality wound care and treatment services while working closely with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident outcomes. Your Impact as a Treatment Nurse

In this role, you will:

• Perform dressing changes, wound assessments, and specialized skin treatments
• Monitor and document healing progress of wounds, incisions, and skin concerns
• Communicate effectively with physicians and families regarding care plans
• Evaluate residents’ nutritional and hydration needs related to wound healing
• Review lab results and respond to signs of infection
• Educate staff on wound prevention and treatment protocols
• Assist with floor staffing as needed to ensure continuity of care
