Job summary

Whisperingpinescare is seeking a compassionate Treatment Nurse (LVN or RN) to provide high-quality wound care and treatment services. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to enhance resident outcomes and ensure reliable, competent care.

The role emphasizes independent work within a team, excellent assessment and documentation, and strong communication with physicians and families to support optimal healing and care plans.

Qualifications

• Active LVN or RN license in good standing with the state.
• Wound care and treatment procedures experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform dressing changes, wound assessments, and specialized skin treatments.
• Monitor and document healing progress of wounds, incisions, and skin concerns.
• Communicate with physicians and families regarding care plans.
• Evaluate residents' nutritional and hydration needs related to wound healing.
• Review lab results and respond to signs of infection.
• Educate staff on wound prevention and treatment protocols.
• Assist with floor staffing to ensure continuity of care.

We’re seeking a skilled and compassionate Treatment Nurse (LVN or RN) to join our care team. In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality wound care and treatment services while working closely with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident outcomes. Success in this role requires clinical expertise, reliability, and a collaborative spirit.

Your Impact as a Treatment Nurse

In this role, you will:

• Perform dressing changes, wound assessments, and specialized skin treatments
• Monitor and document healing progress of wounds, incisions, and skin concerns
• Communicate effectively with physicians and families regarding care plans
• Evaluate residents’ nutritional and hydration needs related to wound healing
• Review lab results and respond to signs of infection
