Job summary

1st in Smiles in Plano, TX is seeking a Full-Time Dental Treatment Coordinator to manage front-office duties, treatment scheduling, and patient communication. You will assist patients with treatment plans, coordinate records, and support clinicians to ensure smooth practice operations.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of dental front-office experience, strong customer service, and excellent communication skills in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of dental front office experience preferred.
• Proficiency with dental software and scheduling tools.
• Excellent customer service and professional demeanor.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Answers incoming calls to include new patients and emergencies.
• Brief patients on treatment plans and practice policies.
• Establishing trusting relationships with new patients.
• Presenting treatment plans to patients and parents as needed.
• Tracking pending and incomplete treatments to completion.
• Making sure dental goals are met in regard to services.
• Appointment scheduling and calendar management.
• Requesting records and coordinating with providers.
• Patient follow ups and insurance/billing awareness.
