Earlens is seeking a motivated Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist to provide remote hearing healthcare services, conducting assessments and consultations through telemedicine. The role involves fitting Earlens devices, maintaining patient records, and ensuring excellent care while adhering to compliance standards.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist to provide remote hearing healthcare services for Earlens hearing devices in North Carolina. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting hearing assessments, consultations, and making recommendations through telemedicine technology.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct hearing assessments using remote technology and interpret results
• Recommend and fit appropriate Earlens solutions for patients
• Provide remote counseling and support to patients regarding hearing loss, Earlens hearing aid use, and other related issues
• Document patient interactions and maintain accurate records in the electronic medical record system

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and referral sources as needed
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in hearing technology and telehealth technology
• Provide excellent patient care and customer service
• Meet productivity and quality standards as set by the clinic
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Audiology, Hearing Science, or related field
• Valid state license to practice as a Hearing Instrument Specialist in North Carolina
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in hearing instrument fitting and dispensing
• Experience with telehealth technology and remote patient care is preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
Physical Demands:
• Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to use a computer and telehealth technology
