Job description

Mercor is recruiting medical professionals with experience in mental health treatment and digital research for research projects with leading AI labs.

These projects involve advising prominent researchers on leveraging large language models and other AI tools responsibly to impact mental health treatments significantly.

You are a good fit if you:

• Hold a PhD or MD from an accredited university with expertise in one of the following areas:
• Eating Disorder Treatment
• Emergency Mental Health Interventions
• Digital Addiction Treatment
• Have a deep interest in how AI and digital tools can be responsibly used to improve crisis intervention or psychiatric treatments

Role Details:

• Compensation ranges from $100 to $200 per hour, depending on background and experience.
• The work is fully remote and asynchronous, allowing flexibility around your schedule.

Pay and Legal Status:

• We can meet industry-standard compensation expectations for your current role.
• You will be classified as an “at-will” independent contractor to Mercor.
• We primarily recruit candidates based in the US, Canada, or Europe, but will consider top candidates from other regions.
• We cannot currently support H1-B or STEM OPT status candidates.
• The pay range mentioned is for US-based applicants; it will vary based on geographic location, but we aim to remain competitive.
