Job summary

Lane & Associates Family Dentistry is seeking an experienced Dental Treatment Coordinator for our Cary Green Level location. You will be the friendly first point of contact, guiding patients through appointments, insurance, and treatment plans to ensure an exceptional experience.

You’ll support a collaborative team, manage schedules, verify benefits, and help patients understand financial options while maintaining accurate records and a welcoming reception area.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a dental front office or similar dental administrative role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Professional, polished, and positive demeanor.
• Passion for creating exceptional patient experiences.
• Confidence communicating treatment plans and financial information with patients.
• Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software systems.
• Experience with Denticon is a plus!
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Enter and update patient demographics and insurance information in Denticon.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant electronic patient records.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to ensure exceptional patient experience.

Now Hiring: Dental Treatment Coordinator | Cary Green Level

Lane & Associates Family Dentistry is looking for an experienced Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our team at our Cary Green Level location!

As a Treatment Coordinator, you'll play an important role in creating an exceptional patient experience while helping patients understand their treatment options, navigate their insurance benefits, coordinate appointments, and take the next step toward achieving their oral health goals.

Your Responsibilities:

As a Treatment Coordinator, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Serve as a primary point of contact for patients, providing a warm, welcoming, and professional experience.
• Manage a multi-line phone system, including scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming appointments.
• Help maintain productive provider schedules by effectively coordinating patient appointments.
• Check patients in and out with professionalism and attention to detail.
• Present and review treatment plans with patients while helping them understand their recommended care and financial options.
• Support treatment acceptance by confidently communicating the value of recommended treatment.
• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility and assist patients with understanding their benefits.
• Collect payments and follow established financial policies and procedures.
• Accurately enter and update patient demographic and insurance information in Denticon.
• Maintain accurate electronic patient records while following HIPAA and company privacy requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception and waiting area.
• Collaborate with doctors and team members to provide an exceptional patient experience.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall success of the practice.
