Job summary

Americas Rehab Campus in Scottsdale is seeking a Treatment Advisor to manage admissions for detox, residential, and outpatient programs. You will be the first point of contact for prospective clients and families, conducting pre-screenings and coordinating insurance verification to support timely admission.

You will collaborate with clinical and billing teams, ensure accurate documentation, and maintain HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Minimum two years of experience in admissions, intake or related field preferred.
  • KIPU EMR experience preferred.
  • Microsoft 365 experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Knowledge of community resources and treatment programming.
  • Basic understanding of insurance authorization processes.
  • CPR/FA Certification – to be obtained within first 30 days.
  • Fingerprint Clearance Card – current card or proof of applying within 7 days from hire date.
  • Handle with Care – to be obtained within first 30 days.
  • Successful clearance of pre-employment background, drug/alcohol testing, TB screening as required.
  • Attendance at clinical oversight with BHP once every 2 weeks (min 2 sessions per month).

Responsibilities

  • Admissions & Pre-Screening: answer inquiries and collect clinical, demographic, and insurance information.
  • Complete and coordinate referral and admissions documentation.
  • Communicate program details and next steps clearly and professionally.
  • Facilitate transitions into appropriate levels of care.
  • Make outbound/follow-up calls to support engagement and admission decisions.
  • Maintain timely admission decisions and referrals with follow-up communication.
  • Coordinate admissions logistics with program Directors and clinical teams.
  • Collaborate with billing for financial screening and insurance verification.
  • Maintain relationships with referral sources and community partners.
  • Schedule transportation for incoming clients as needed.
  • Documentation & Compliance: ensure timely processing of paperwork and EMR updates.
  • Track referral/admissions metrics; ensure confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

The Treatment Advisor is responsible for managing the admissions process for individuals seeking services at America’s Rehab Campus (ARC), including detox, residential, and outpatient levels of care. This role serves as the first point of contact for prospective clients and their families, ensuring professional, compassionate, and efficient admissions experience.
