Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • CPR/FA certification and HIPAA knowledge preferred.
  • Healthcare front desk or receptionist experience is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in visitors, clients, and vendors professionally.
  • Answer and direct calls, including crisis or after-hours inquiries.
  • Monitor entry points for safety and compliance with visitation policies.
  • Verify visitor credentials and maintain logs with confidentiality.
  • Support admissions by collecting basic client information and notifying staff.
  • Respond calmly to urgent or sensitive situations; assist with clerical tasks as needed.
  • Coordinate interdepartmental communication during evening hours; maintain reception area.

Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for clients, families, and visitors at the facility during evening hours. This role is essential in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and professional environment while supporting clinical and administrative teams.
