Job summary

Stella-Jones is seeking a plant operator to manage daily treating operations, ensuring safe handling of chemicals and adherence to regulatory requirements. The role involves operating boilers, pressure vessels, and associated equipment to meet target production levels.

Ideal candidates have at least a year of treating experience with chemicals, a safety-oriented mindset, and pesticide/license certifications preferred; PASS respiratory and medical exams may be required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: One year treating experience preferred; must have experience with chemicals.
• License/Certification: Pesticide applicators license preferred; Boiler Operating License preferred; PIE Certified.

Responsibilities

• Operate treating plant systems and maintain production levels.
• Follow prescribed operating procedures for boiler, vessels, and waste systems.
• Perform inspector, machine operator, and laborer duties as required.
• Adhere to safety program and participate in safety procedures.
• Complete related duties as assigned.
