Job summary

Stella Jones Corporation in Cordele, GA seeks a Treating Engineer 2 for the 2nd shift (3:00 pm–11:00 pm). The role handles daily work instructions, inspection, grading, treatment, and materials, operating the treating plant safely and proficiently.

Emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance in a chemical handling environment. Qualified candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, with 1 year treating experience preferred and pesticide-related licenses/certifications desirable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year treating experience preferred; experience with chemicals.
• Pesticide applicator license preferred; Boiler Operating License preferred; PIE Certified.

Responsibilities

• Operate and control systems per operating procedures (boiler, pressure vessels, recovery systems, preservative mix, transfer and storage).
• Perform duties of inspector, machine operator (2) and laborer as required.
• Operate treating processes to meet target production levels.
• Perform security duties.
• Participate in and support the safety program.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
