Lone Star College is seeking an Analyst II, Treasury - Tax and Debt to support financial planning by collecting, validating, and analyzing property tax data and ensuring accurate revenue estimates. The role also monitors debt obligations, including bond balances and debt service payments, and contributes to regulatory reporting.

You will collaborate with external entities and internal departments to meet team objectives and ensure compliance with controls and audit requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of related experience.
• Strong data entry and validation skills.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Performs data collection, validation, and analysis of property tax data; maintains data integrity and reconciles datasets.
• Maintains and updates analytical spreadsheets and supporting documentation for tax revenue forecasting.
• Consolidates and analyzes property tax data to support revenue forecasts and projections; prepares analytical schedules.
• Prepares, reviews, and processes debt service payments; validates transactions and maintains supporting documentation.
• Executes monthly bond-related accruals and performs reconciliations during month-end closing; investigates variances.
