Job summary

NewFirst National Bank is seeking a Treasury Management & Special Deposits Onboarding Specialist to guide commercial and special deposit clients through onboarding and implementation, ensuring a seamless transition and successful adoption of Treasury Solutions and Lockbox services.

The role emphasizes personalized service, detailed coordination of account openings, and enabling clients to leverage digital banking and treasury products for long-term relationship success.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of banking or related financial services experience.
• Working knowledge of CIP, CDD, BSA/AML, and commercial account opening requirements.
• Basic knowledge of Treasury Management services and digital banking platforms.
• Strong customer service, communication, and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial client onboarding, partnering with Business Development Officers during the first 90 days.
• Coordinate or assist with commercial account openings including documentation, signatures, and ID requirements.
• Coordinate or assist with Treasury Solutions implementations including Digital Banking, ACH Origination, Wire Services, Positive Pay, RDC, Lockbox.
• Develop knowledge of Lockbox operations and related workflows, reporting, and support.
• Understand technical connections supporting Special Deposit and Lockbox relationships (SFTP, APIs, file formats).
• Act as liaison between customers, BDOs, Treasury Management/Lockbox Operations, IT, and vendors for onboarding or integration.
• Guide customers through new accounts and transition points to minimize disruption.
• Conduct personalized training on Digital Banking, Treasury Solutions, Special Deposits, and Lockbox.
• Manage timelines and collaborate with internal teams for timely completion.
• Follow up with customers to ensure adoption of Treasury Solutions, Special Deposit services, and Lockbox processes.
• Ensure all onboarding deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
