Job summary

BVNK is seeking a Treasury and Payment Operations Analyst to ensure timely processing of payments, liquidity management, and handling client inquiries. You will maintain relationships with partner financial institutions and support compliance and monitoring efforts.

The role requires weekend on-call coverage (shared among analysts) and some bank-holidays, with compensation or time off in lieu as agreed. Base on West Coast US or PT-aligned schedule, Hybrid work

Qualifications

• Experience in treasury, payment operations, or financial services is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal skills, able to present findings and communicate workflows effectively.

Responsibilities

• Process and monitor manual and automated transactions, including deposit allocation, client payments, and return of funds.
• Handle failed payments, liquidity movements, and cash flow management.
• Manage offline liquidity providers and exchanges.
• Maintain positive professional relationships with partner financial institutions, merchants, and internal operational teams.
• Assist the Merchant Support team with incoming queries.
• Work closely with compliance and monitoring teams to address flagged transactions, RFIs, and counterparty whitelisting.
• Track and resolve open payment queries, ensuring swift resolution.
• Support safeguarding and reconciliation procedures related to EMI operations.
• Produce KPIs on payments statistics within the business.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks or discrepancies.
• Assist senior operations team members with various tasks or duties as needed.
• Support treasury and related operational teams with counterparty risk management and ensure compliance with internal treasury policies.
