Job summary

Simmons Bank is seeking a Treasury Management Officer to drive revenue growth by acquiring new commercial relationships and expanding treasury services within existing clients. You will partner with Commercial Banking teams to design solutions that improve cash flow, reduce fraud risk, and optimize payments.

You will manage the full sales cycle from discovery to implementation, while building deep client relationships and a strong pipeline.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Business or Finance preferred
• 3–7 years of applicable experience in treasury or commercial banking
• Proven consultative sales and business development

Responsibilities

• Solicit, establish, and maintain commercial treasury management relationships focusing on treasury products and core deposit growth.
• Develop and execute a strategic calling plan to generate treasury revenue opportunities.
• Collaborate with Commercial Banking relationship managers on joint sales calls.
• Provide training to banking partners as needed.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline to achieve sales and revenue goals.
• Conduct client needs assessments for cash management, payments, receivables, liquidity, and fraud prevention.
• Prepare and deliver treasury proposals and recommendations.
• Negotiate pricing and service agreements within bank guidelines.
• Stay informed on treasury trends and payment technologies.
• Strengthen client relationships through account reviews and treasury strategy discussions.
• Facilitate smooth transition from sales to implementation and onboarding.
• Aim for growth in treasury fee income, deposits, and product sales.
• Maintain accurate activity, pipeline, and sales documentation.
