Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Treasury Management sales professional to acquire, expand and retain new Payment business, including Merchant, Treasury Management and Card products.

The role emphasizes outside sales, prospecting, and advising clients on cash conversion cycles and working capital strategies. In collaboration with Relationship Managers, you will manage client relationships, analyze operating cycles and recommend solutions to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5–7 years Treasury Management sales experience.
• Proven sales, prospecting and new business development skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Treasury Management and Payments.
• Strong client service and relationship skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to work independently.
• Active listening and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to teach customers how to use digital technology.

Responsibilities

• Acquire, expand and retain new Payment business across Merchant, Treasury Management and Card products.
• Contact existing and prospective clients to provide consultative advice on cash conversion cycle, working capital management and internal processes.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers to manage client relationships and service structure.
• Analyze receivables/payables cycles for client relationships and opportunities.
• Provide consultative and insightful feedback to clients.
• Recommend products/services to improve client processes and efficiency.
• Leverage resources to optimize client experience and ensure operational excellence.
• Meet or exceed sales and revenue goals and retention objectives.
• Assist in structuring and implementing new or modified Payment services.
• Build community relationships and engage with local organizations.
• Identify business development opportunities and community impact for U.S. Bank.
