Job summary

Busey Bank is seeking a Treasury Management Portfolio Manager in Peoria, IL to manage and expand a portfolio of treasury services. You will drive fee income, promote product penetration, and coordinate small business referrals through the TM organization and FirsTech partner network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with emphasis on Finance or Business or equivalent banking experience.
• 3+ years banking experience; Treasury Management experience and/or payment technology sales preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage and cross-sell into an existing portfolio of Treasury Management clients to drive treasury and card fee income, deposit growth and product penetration.
• Proactively schedule sales calls with assigned clients and attend sales calls with partners.
• Coordinate and conduct Treasury Management client reviews to upsell new TM services and depository opportunities.
• Prepare treasury and commercial card pricing/profitability models, proposals and presentations.
• Identify opportunities for merchant services and receivables within existing clients and refer to FirsTech.
• Serve as the main contact on small business referrals and guide from proposal to implementation.
• Meet with line of business partners to discuss referral opportunities and market trends.
• Coordinate RFPs, pitch books and contract negotiation with internal stakeholders.
• Conduct product demonstrations for clients and gather data for new implementations.
• Maintain client data in CRM and manage Treasury Management workflows for new product implementations.
• Communicate complex solutions clearly and suggest products to increase efficiency or reduce fraud.
• Assist with negotiating contract terms with clients and provide cross-sell referrals within the Bank.
• Interact with clients to provide extraordinary service and stay current with Treasury Management products and regulatory requirements.
• Complete assignments professionally and prioritize work using service tools.
