Job summary

Expedia Group in Seattle is seeking a Treasury Manager, Foreign Currency and Hedging, to lead FX risk management and hedging strategy across global programs. The role emphasizes automation, efficiency, and partnership with Tax, Accounting, Legal, and Planning teams.

You will mentor team members, drive process improvements, and ensure timely, accurate reporting while supporting liquidity and risk management across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Data Science, or related field.
• 6+ years of treasury/finance experience.
• Strong foreign currency risk management knowledge.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI.
• Excellent communication and project-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute weekly hedging for proposals for balance sheet, revenue, loyalty and net investment programs.
• Engage in discussions to recommend optimal hedging strategies, hedging instruments, and operational execution.
• Manage foreign currency risk across a dynamic, multi-program FX hedge portfolio, including revenue hedging, balance sheet hedging, and net investment hedging.
• Lead automation initiatives to identify currency exposures efficiently and effectively, and develop appropriate hedging strategies.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify additional use cases for AI in Foreign Currency and Hedging process execution.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for Foreign Currency and Hedging for internal stakeholders, including Forecasting and Planning, Tax, Accounting, Internal Audit, and other teams.
• Maintain excellent and time-sensitive communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyze hedging performance and investigate gaps, anomalies, and discrepancies.
• Consistently identify opportunities to improve program effectiveness and efficiency.
• Partner with the Cash Management team to support global liquidity needs.
• Lead ad hoc projects and initiatives across Treasury, including support for capital markets, investments, and other related areas.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and guidance to team members.
