Job summary

Expedia Group in Seattle is seeking a Treasury Manager, Foreign Currency and Hedging to manage currency risk and shape global hedging programs. You will lead weekly hedging, optimize strategies, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive automation and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in a related field and 6+ years in treasury or finance, with strong communication skills and experience with Excel, PowerBI, and treasury systems. MBA/CFA is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Data Science, or a related field.
6+ years of relevant experience in Treasury, Accounting, Finance, or Banking.
Strong understanding of foreign currency risk management and hedging concepts.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills with senior management.
Ability to drive automation and process improvements.

Responsibilities

Prepare and execute weekly hedging for proposals for balance sheet, revenue, loyalty and net investment programs.
Engage in discussions to recommend optimal hedging strategies, hedging instruments, and operational execution.
Manage foreign currency risk across a dynamic, multi-program FX hedge portfolio, including revenue hedging, balance sheet hedging, and net investment hedging.
Lead automation initiatives to identify currency exposures efficiently and effectively, and develop appropriate hedging strategies.
Partner with cross-functional teams to identify additional use cases for AI in Foreign Currency and Hedging process execution.
