Job summary

Expedia Group in Seattle is seeking a Treasury Manager, Foreign Currency and Hedging, to manage FX risk, shape hedging programs, and drive automation across global processes. You will partner with Tax, Accounting, Finance, and Legal to support liquidity and risk management for the company’s global entities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Data Science, or related field.
• 6+ years of relevant experience in Treasury, Accounting, Finance, or Banking.
• Strong understanding of foreign currency risk management, hedging strategies, treasury operations, and accounting concepts.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, and treasury management software.
• Strong focus on process automation, continuous improvement, and driving efficiency and effectiveness.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity, initiative, motivation, and curiosity.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to senior management and external stakeholders with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated experience driving results and mentoring teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute weekly hedging for proposals for balance sheet, revenue, loyalty and net investment programs.
• Engage in discussions to recommend optimal hedging strategies, hedging instruments, and operational execution.
• Manage foreign currency risk across a dynamic, multi-program FX hedge portfolio.
• Lead automation initiatives to identify currency exposures and develop hedging strategies.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify AI use cases in FX and Hedging processes.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for Foreign Currency and Hedging for internal stakeholders.
• Maintain timely communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyze hedging performance and investigate gaps, anomalies, and discrepancies.
• Identify opportunities to improve program effectiveness and efficiency.
• Lead ad hoc projects across Treasury and support capital markets.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and guidance to team members.
