Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a seasoned underwriting professional to manage underwriting for Middle Market, Business Banking, and related credit facilities. You will analyze cash flows, assess risk, and approve Treasury and Card credit requests within approved grids.

The role requires leadership, collaboration with Relationship Managers and Risk teams, and adherence to credit policies. The position offers career growth within an in-office culture with flexible role-based arrangements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-7+ years of COMMERCIAL underwriting and credit analysis experience.
• 3+ years of commercial credit decisioning experience with approval signature authority.
• Formal commercial credit training or equivalent work experience.
• Prior experience in a high volume production environment.
• Superior teamwork skills in the commercial market space.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in business administration/finance/economics

Responsibilities

• Analyze, underwrite, and approve credit solutions for Treasury and Card clients; approve credit requests per credit grid.
• Conduct credit analysis including financial spreads, risk rating scorecards, industry assessment, cash flow.
• Evaluate credit worthiness and decide approval for Treasury or Card facilities.
• Ensure underwriting complies with Bank credit policy and procedures.
• Partner with Relationship Managers, Treasury Sales Officers, and Risk teammates to deliver credit solutions.
• Ensure data quality of credit related client and deal information.
• Mentor and assist junior team members as applicable
