Our insurance client is hiring a Treasury Accountant to support their team in Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities:

1. Access company bank reports from various banking and investment institutions to use as a basis for cash projections and reporting.
2. Assist with responsibilities for the daily determination of the cash position for the daily cash requirements of business units, including whether the programs have either an excess or shortage of funds, and act appropriately.

Qualifications:

1. Completed bachelor's degree.
2. 1+ years' experience handling treasury responsibilities along with heavy GAAP adherence and general ledger management.
