We are currently looking for a qualified Assistant Controller or Sr. Accountant at our company headquarters in downtown Chicago, Illinois. The Assistant Controller / Sr. Accountant position is primarily responsible for providing reports for various departments as well as financial reporting.

Main Duties include:

• Closing out the month for multiple brands in the company’s accounting software
• Preparing monthly financial statements and company metrics
• Calculating costing and pricing estimates for products produced by our manufacturing plants
• Working with the General Manager to produce an annual budget
• Preparing monthly and quarterly bank compliance reports
• Assisting with preparations for annual review with our outside accounting firm
• Preparing schedules as necessary for annual tax return preparation
• Assisting with preparations for annual bank examination
• Working with accounting staff to ensure accurate and timely reporting
• Other duties as assigned by our company Controller or General Manager

The position is in an office setting in downtown Chicago, Illinois. You will be working in a dedicated office cubicle. Some travel required to our various manufacturing plants in the US on occasion.

Saunders Midwest, LLC is offering for this position a salary of $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year, as well as health, dental, vision and disability insurances; 401K retirement plan; paid time-off and a flexible work schedule.
