We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, particularly in revenue recognition, and will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with accounting standards and enhancing financial reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review contracts and agreements to determine appropriate revenue recognition methods.

- Prepare and maintain documentation for revenue recognition analyses and conclusions.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

- Assist in the preparation of internal and external reports, including financial analysis and variance reports.

- Support the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.

- Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.

- 1-3+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on revenue recognition.

- Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles, particularly ASC 606.

- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.

- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
