Job summary

STAAR Corp is seeking a Traveling Telecommunications Technician who will support projects across multiple markets. The role centers on MDU/MTU telecommunications installations, with potential involvement in fiber, coax, FTTH, drops, testing, and troubleshooting as needed.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, willingness to travel, and basic telecom or construction experience; flexibility in schedules and strict adherence to safety procedures are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability/willingness to travel.
• Basic telecommunications or construction experience.
• Ability to safely use ladders and field tools; willingness to work flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

• Support STAAR Corp projects across markets and scopes of work.
• Focused mainly on MDU/MTU telecommunications installations; may assist with fiber, coax, FTTH, drops, testing and troubleshooting.
• Travel regularly to job sites and comply with safety procedures and project standards.
