Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services is seeking a skilled Business Installation and Repair Technician in Grand Rapids to install and maintain voice, data, security and VoIP systems across a defined geographic area. You will travel to customer locations, perform installations, and leverage a laptop and software tools to complete work orders.

You will work independently with strong technical aptitude, collaborating with teams as needed to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience working with Telecommunication networks or similar electrical fields.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working independently and a strong technical aptitude.
• Working knowledge of Cisco systems or similar equipment manufacturers.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain various voice, data, security and VoIP communication systems and equipment.
• Build on your customer service skills; ensure work orders are completed.
• Drive to and from customer locations in a defined geographic area performing installation of services on behalf of our client.
• Utilize a laptop computer and various software applications.
