Job summary

Kimmel Associates seeks a Traveling Superintendent for national office interior projects. You will lead field operations, manage subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and schedules on high-end tenant improvements.

Travel nationwide with extended overnight stays is expected, with preference for living within 50–100 miles of an office. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in commercial construction as a lead superintendent, OSHA 30 certification, and a strong track record of project leadership on

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; college coursework or a Construction Management degree preferred.
• Significant experience as Lead Superintendent on commercial interior, tenant improvement, retail, or building renovation projects.
• Ideally 10+ years of commercial construction Superintendent experience.
• Experience managing projects valued at approximately $10 million or more.
• OSHA 30 certification required; CPR/First Aid certifications beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead all field operations on assigned commercial interior projects.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, laborers, and project stakeholders.
• Coordinate daily construction activities to progress according to the project schedule.
• Ensure materials, equipment, tools, information, and manpower are available when needed.
• Review plans, specifications, schedules, and other project documentation.
• Direct subcontractor activities and coordinate multiple trades on active jobsites.
