Job summary

Kimmel Associates is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to lead field operations on Class A commercial interior projects nationwide. The candidate will manage on-site teams, subcontractors, and schedules while upholding safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

Candidates should have 10+ years of superintendent experience, OSHA 30, and a demonstrated ability to travel nationwide with extended overnight stays. Strong communication with clients is essential.

Qualifications

• Lead Superintendent on commercial interior, tenant improvement, retail or renovations.
• 10+ years of commercial construction Superintendent experience.
• Experience leading projects with value around $10 million or more.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.
• Willingness to travel nationwide and stay extended overnight when needed.
• Ideally located within 50–100 miles of a company office.

Responsibilities

• Lead all field operations and personnel on assigned projects.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, laborers, and project stakeholders.
• Coordinate daily construction activities to meet schedules.
• Ensure materials, equipment, and manpower are available when needed.
• Review plans, specs, schedules, and other project docs.
• Direct subcontractor activities across multiple trades.
• Maintain daily reports, time sheets, safety docs and punch lists.
• Monitor progress, quality, safety, and productivity on site.
• Communicate with clients and internal teams to resolve field issues.
• Mentor other superintendents and field personnel as needed.
