Job summary

ARCO seeks a Superintendent to lead field operations, enforce safety and quality, and drive projects to on-time, on-budget completion. The role requires coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, and site staff while managing schedules and cost reports across multiple sites.

The ideal candidate has extensive construction experience, strong leadership, and willingness to travel nationwide. A valid driver's license and bilingual English/Spanish are a plus.

Qualifications

• 5-25 years of construction experience.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and project scheduling programs.
• Current, valid driver's license in your state of residence.
• Ability to meet physical demands (standing/walking, lifting up to 50 lbs).
• Ability to organize people, tools, and equipment to manage multiple activities.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and conflict resolution ability.
• Willingness to travel nationwide.
• Bilingual English and Spanish desirable.

Responsibilities

• Attend post-award reviews to gather project details and plan preconstruction activities.
• Assist project manager with schedule creation, staffing, and equipment requirements.
• Direct the total construction project to meet specifications and stay on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate subcontractors and integrate work with project timelines.
• Maintain communication with owner representatives, architects, and supervisors.
• Prepare progress and cost reports reflecting actual costs.
