Job summary

National Coatings is seeking a Project Superintendent to oversee field crews, subcontractors, and safety on painting projects nationwide. The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and hands-on painting experience across commercial, industrial, and retail environments.

You will be involved in job setup, progress meetings, and site visits, with travel across the United States. A commitment to teamwork and excellence will drive project success and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of superintendent/supervisory experience.
• Hands-on experience in commercial, industrial, and/or retail painting.
• Knowledge of safety regulations for painting/construction activities.
• Willingness and ability to travel to project sites across the U.S.
• Professional or conversational proficiency in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review production weekly to ensure adequate manpower and schedule adherence.
• Supervise field and subcontractor crews for production and quality; enforce policies.
• Ensure subcontractors complete all required paperwork.
• Build teams and promote teamwork; manage safety functions and testing.
• Participate in job setup, scheduling, and production reporting; site visits as needed.
• Communicate job status and updates to the Project Manager weekly.
