Job summary

National Coatings is seeking a seasoned field supervisor to oversee painting projects across commercial, industrial, and specialty applications. You will manage field crews, ensure safety, read blueprints, and coordinate with foremen and estimators to meet project timelines.

The role emphasizes leadership, training, and adherence to safety standards while delivering high-quality coating solutions and client satisfaction on site.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of superintendent / supervisory experience.
• Proven commercial, industrial, and/or retail painting experience.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to painting and construction activities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work collaboratively and exhibit strong leadership.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Able to read drawings / blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Review manpower schedule weekly to determine field personnel needs.
• Review applications, conduct interviews, and hire painters as needed.
• Track field employees' progress and conduct reviews as due.
• Oversee training, safety, and compliance across field teams.
• Handle site setup, equipment delivery, and weekly progress meetings.
• Manage daily project paperwork and troubleshooting on site.
