Job summary

National Coatings, Inc. is seeking a capable Superintendent to lead field crews on commercial, industrial, and retail painting projects across the United States.

You will supervise subcontractors, ensure safety, quality, and timely progress, handle site logistics, and coordinate with estimators and project managers. Travel to project sites nationwide is required; you will review weekly production, prepare reports, and maintain paperwork while building strong teams committed to safety and

Qualifications

• 3+ years in superintendent or supervisory role.
• Proven commercial/industrial/retail painting experience.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to painting and construction.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to lead teams.
• Willing and able to travel to project sites across the U.S.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to read drawings/blueprints.
• Professional or conversational proficiency in Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Review production on a weekly basis to ensure adequate manpower and on-schedule completion.
• Supervise field and subcontractor crews for production and quality; enforce company policies.
• Ensure all required paperwork is completed by subcontractors.
• Build effective teams; promote teamwork and a positive culture.
• Manage safety functions and conduct safety testing as needed.
• Participate in job setup and scheduling; build production reports.
• Attend job start-up meetings with project stakeholders; briefings and coordination.
• Conduct site visits with foreman/subcontractor prior to/during project start.
• Deliver equipment, supplies, and material to job sites; handle logistics.
• Attend weekly progress meetings and provide status updates.
• Maintain daily management and troubleshooting; keep Project Manager informed.
