ARCO is seeking an experienced lead superintendent to manage ground-up commercial construction projects nationwide. You will oversee field operations, safety protocols, and timely completion within budget while coordinating with project managers and subcontractors.

The role requires 5–25 years of leadership in commercial construction, travel as needed, and proficiency with Word/Excel/Outlook and scheduling software. A valid driver's license and physical stamina are essential.

Qualifications

• 5-25 years’ experience leading ground-up commercial construction projects.
• Willing to travel as projects require.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and project scheduling programs.
• Experience using an iPad or tablet preferred.
• Willing to travel minimally within the Southeast Region.
• Possess and maintain a current, valid driver license in your state of residence.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing or walking for long periods, occasional uneven terrain, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Attend the post-award review meeting to receive project information and details for preplanning before construction.
• Coordinate with the project manager in planning schedules, organization structure, staff selection, and equipment needs.
• Direct and control the total construction project to meet specifications and timelines.
• Assist the project manager/engineer with shipments, shop drawings, and material samples approvals.
• Coordinate subcontractors to integrate their work with project schedules and progress.
• Prepare job progress and cost reports reflecting actual costs.
