The Learning Lamp in Johnstown, Pennsylvania seeks a part-time Substitute Teacher Liaison to support the Greater Johnstown School District. This Traveling role works across assigned positions within pre-approved districts and helps offload administrative tasks from schools.

Hours vary with school district schedules; pay starts at $135.00–$145.00 per day, with benefits for part-time staff and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is the minimal requirement.
• Must complete four clearances and mandatory training including TB test.
• Capacity for sitting, standing, walking, bending and stooping for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to student maturity.
• Supervise activities to ensure safety at all times and take attendance per district procedures.
• Employ instructional methods aligned with lesson plans and classroom objectives.
• Carry out prescribed lesson plans and guide learning toward curriculum goals.
