The ideal candidate has extensive steel building installation experience and strong leadership to manage crews while safeguarding safety, schedule and quality.

This role requires traveling approximately 95% of the time; you will supervise crews of 4-5 workers, read blueprints, coordinate site activities,

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in steel and metal building construction.
• Experience as Foreman/Lead Installer/Supervisor preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pre-engineered metal building systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
• Experience supervising crews of 4–5 workers.
• Proficient in use of construction tools, lifts and equipment.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a crew of 4–5 employees on steel metal building installation projects.
• Coordinate daily job site activities to ensure safe, efficient work.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.
• Oversee erection of structural steel, pre-engineered buildings, wall panels and roofing systems.
• Conduct safety meetings and enforce OSHA regulations.
• Schedule and assign work tasks to crew members.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards.
• Communicate project progress and material needs to project managers.
• Train and mentor crew members to improve productivity.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment.
