Sure Steel, Inc. is seeking a General Foreman I in Atlanta to supervise and coordinate steel erection and installation crews. You will lead ironworkers, welders, and operators, ensuring safety and on-time completion within budget.

The role requires 3-5 years in structural/steel construction and a strong ability to read construction plans. A high school diploma and leadership experience are essential, with PEMB experience a plus. This position is on-site with travel expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; construction management training preferred.
• 3-5 years in structural/steel construction, PEMB.
• Experience supervising construction crews.
• Strong communication and reading construction plans.

Responsabilités

• Crew supervision of ironworkers, welders, and equipment operators.
• Ensure safety compliance and conduct toolbox talks.
• Quality control of erected steel per project specs.
• Coordinate delivery and storage of materials and equipment for construction activities.
• Communicate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and crews.
• Maintain daily records, progress reports, and incident logs.
