Job summary

Cascade Environmental, LLC is hiring for a field-based drilling role in the Southeast region. You will operate drilling rigs, maintain safety, and mentor crew members while ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with DOT/FMCSA requirements.

The role requires CDL Class A and a State Driller License preferred, with 3+ years in drilling and at least 1 year operating multiple rig types. Travel is a significant component, with potential weekends and long shifts; strong safety focus is essential.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A and State Driller License preferred.
• 3+ years’ experience in drilling, with at least 1 year operating a variety of rigs (sonic, rotary, auger).
• Negative drug test and clean background as per policy.
• Valid Driver’s License and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) as essential to function.
• Interstate DOT Medical Card and FMCSA requirements for CMV operation.

Responsibilities

• Operate drill rigs and drilling equipment with high proficiency.
• Maintain daily drilling reports.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working condition; perform routine and preventative maintenance.
• Lead drilling crew through training and mentoring while maintaining safety.
• Maintain knowledge of MSDS, CEU’s and JSA’s.
• Approve employee timesheets.
• Complete well logs and related paperwork.
• Build professional relationships with team members and clients.
