Job summary

Healthworks Safety, LLC seeks a Site Safety & Health Officer for a travelling role across the continental United States. The SSHO will lead safety programs, ensure EM385-1-1 and OSHA CFR 1926 compliance, and coordinate with project teams to protect workers and the public.

The role requires crane/rigging knowledge, EM385 40-hour certification, and a track record of enforcing safety regulations while supporting field operations and training. Expect significant travel and on-site presence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in the construction industry.
• OSHA 30-hour construction cert within 3 years.
• EM385 40-hour certification (can be completed within 90 days of assignment).
• Crane and rigging knowledge; fall protection and silica exposure competency.
• Ability to enforce regulations and coordinate with project teams.

Responsibilities

• Participates in safety pre-planning and hazard analysis for upcoming work activities.
• Coordinates with project superintendents and project team members in the review of project schedules.
• Conducts Site Specific Safety Orientation for all employees and contracts partners on arrival on site.
• Maintain employee and sub-contractor’s required safety documentation and permits.
