Job summary

Conti Federal Services is seeking a Site Safety and Health Officer to oversee safety programs on a large project at Ellsworth AFB. The SSHO will implement Site Safety and Health Plans, analyze safety trends, and collaborate with management to improve site safety performance.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive safety experience, OSHA 30, and current First Aid/CPR. A US citizenship is required, with the flexibility for rotational travel of three weeks at a time and one weekend home.

Qualifications

• Security clearance: US Citizen required.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Card valid within past 5 years.
• First Aid/CPR certification current.
• Minimum 24 hours of documented safety/occupational health training in past 5 years.
• Five+ years of safety experience on large projects.
• BCSP certification (CHST/OHST/ASP/SMP/CSP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops safety trends analysis and recommends improvements.
• Delivers weekly safety talks with relevant content.
• Maintains on-site safety documentation including reports, audits, and training records.
• Ensures personnel have required safety training and equipment for tasks.
• Coaches teams on hazard communication and Take 5 safety process.
• Implements and enforces Site Safety and Health Plans.
