Position Overview:

We seek an enthusiastic Field Service Technician skilled in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, with a basic understanding of robotic components. The ideal candidate enjoys traveling to service clients across the country, building strong relationships, and training staff to maximize equipment productivity.

This role requires working independently and within a dynamic environment, with significant travel and occasional outside normal hours. It is part of the Customer Care department.

Location: Customer sites near Western Tennessee, SE Missouri, NE Arkansas

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide excellent customer and equipment support both remotely and on-site.
  2. Build positive relationships with customers via in-person, email, and phone communication.
  3. Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and software-related issues.
  4. Understand customer concerns and offer appropriate solutions.
  5. Maintain accurate records within internal systems.
  6. Collaborate with teams to resolve problems effectively.
  7. Support robot operations remotely using web-based monitoring tools.
  8. Train customers on robot usage and maintenance.
  9. Document feedback, field findings, and work details.

Requirements:

  1. Diploma, degree, or 2-5 years of experience in electronics, mechanics, or robotics.
  2. Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.
  3. Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  4. Experience reading schematics and wiring diagrams.
  5. Flexibility to work shifts and adapt to schedules.
  6. Willingness to travel extensively within North America (75%+).
  7. Valid driver’s license and passport.
  8. Self-motivated, passionate about robotics, and team-oriented.
  9. Experience in customer service roles.
  10. Pre-employment background checks required.

Nice-to-Haves:

  1. Experience with electronics or electro-mechanical devices.
  2. Experience servicing floor cleaning equipment.
  3. Familiarity with computer and software tools, Linux experience preferred.
  4. Experience towing small to medium trailers.
