Job summary

Samet Corporation is seeking a Traveling Senior Superintendent to lead field operations across the Southeast region. You will direct trades, manage safety, schedule, and budget, and travel frequently to project sites.

You will set expectations, mentor field staff, review drawings and contracts, and ensure high-quality work while maintaining compliance with codes and permits. A strong leader with Procore experience will drive project success and safety on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, construction engineering, or a related field.
• 7-10 years in construction with 3-5 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience directing multiple trades and subcontractors on-site.
• Procore experience required.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety standards and OSHA regulations.
• Ability to travel frequently across the Southeast region.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all construction activities on assigned projects across multiple locations within the Southeast region.
• Coordinate work schedules and sequences among multiple trades and subcontractors.
• Monitor project progress and maintain construction schedules.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work quality and compliance.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Implement and enforce all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
• Lead the field team in promoting quality initiatives and safety platforms.
• Maintain strong communication with contractors and suppliers to support the schedule.
• Oversee punch lists and project closeout activities.
• Meet with AHJs and third-party inspectors to facilitate inspections and approvals.
